I was a pharmaceutical chemist for over 30 years, and a coauthor on numerous scientific publications covering cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, Alzheimer's disease and other therapeutic areas. I retired from drug discovery research in 2009, and have been producing web content as a health writer since January 2010. I hold a Master of Science degree in organic chemistry from Yale University.
I have been writing on hubpages for a little more than two months, and I must say I have enjoyed it very much. The community of hubbers has such a wide-ranging field of interests, and the questions, forums and comments offer opportunites for very lively interactions with the other writers.
